It’s hard for a Black man to catch a cab, even if that Black man is J. Cole. That makes this whole video such a flex. Cole drops off this new visual for “p u n c h… You know what, it’s really annoying to type like that. But I respect the artistic intent. J. Cole is one of those artists who really can stylize his song titles like that. He’s earned that with his ability to rap, and he’s rapping really well on his latest project “The Off-Season”. On this track he tells the story of a murder much like the best cab drivers tell stories of the wild things they’ve seen. It’s a match made in heaven.
