Add “London Summers” by Odeal to Your Spring/Summer Vibes

There’s this mystique and dare I say aura we chase this time of year, and in general for the music that drops in the spring. “What’s the song of the summer??!!” “We still don’t have the song of the summer!!!” “It doesn’t feel like summer yet!!!!!!!”

Well, if you keep your head wrapped around trying to find that feeling you may miss out on some things. It’s okay though, we got your back. ‘Cus there are songs like these that won’t be summer smashes, but I’ll be damned if I let them disappear into obscurity … at least if you’re around me.

“London Summers” by Odeal is a song I need to hear in 80 degree weather at an aberrantly loud volume with the third drink of the outing in my possession. I can feel it already. But even as I sit with the chill of my air conditioning I can appreciate the groove that this is.

‘Always feels brand new’ is the line that sticks to me. Gets you thinking of that person who gets you energized every time you interact. Or maybe it’s a spring fling turned summer love. Either way, this song gets you there. If all else fails: it just sounds nice.

With Jack Dine helping on the boards, as he has for the likes of favorites of mine like Alex Isley, Mac Ayres & Masego, I’m sold even more. Shout out to Shae Jacobs too, whom is also credited.

If this is what London summers feel like then they got it made over there. Add this to your playlist and thank me later. Or don’t. As long as you catch a vibe.
