New Music Spotlight: R&B Edition XX

Welcome back to The Daily Note’s weekly “New Music Spotlight”— where we talk about music your ears should be on, by artists to keep your eyes on. Let's get into this week's top three new picks.

First Pick: “What’s The WiFi?” by Khari Isiah is a soulful groove that livens the mood. The emerging R&B artist premiered this track with an “On The Radar” performance before its release.

Khari Isiah briefly shared what inspired the song stating he, “Genuinely made this song for movement. Make you wanna get up ‘n groove a lil bit. Music keeps us all connected.”

Second Pick: “Good Girl” by Davion Farris is one of many songs that showcase the singer’s refined talent. This song is rich in poetic lyricism and sensuality— themes consistently heard within Farris’ artistry. During the first verse, his vivid pen and polished vocals are on full display as he smoothly sings, “Moonlight dripping, on your skin tone / Whisper my name, in the night glow / Every breath feels, like a love poem. This is track 2 from his new album “Alchemy,” which was recently released on July 10.

Third Pick: “‘Til We Meet Again” by Amaria is the perfect blend of whimsical romance and yearning. This song thrives in a nostalgic pocket that’s reminiscent of 80s R&B with dreamy yet modern production. The rising artist delivers a soft and velvety vocal performance that captivates the ear on this track.
