Meet The Dainkheads
Through music, we can create community, and going into their second year, the DAINKHEADS collective has been bringing out the best in the city by curating well executed underground concerts and breaking new records for underground artists. Who are the DAINKHEADS? An Atlanta music curation platform consisting of members lead music artist Daink, DJ and producer Dakhari4o4, producer and guitarist Dante and guitarist and DJ Greedy Joe put their talents together to build a network that has already resulted in sponsorships with Posh VIP and Doghouse Cannabis, a distribution deal through Sparta, residency with Atlanta’s Edgewood Studios and an overseas tour in the U.K. There’s always something to do in Atlanta and with DAINKHEADS, their mission is to bring creatives and community together through the inspiration of a lifestyle full of excitement, spontaneity and great music!
Why do they make this their mission? Daink shares the main purpose they want to convey through DAINKHEADS is to resonate with youthful spirited people that aren’t afraid to break the rules, transcend all of the barriers that tend to cause division within our creative community and bring people together through incredible music and amazing experiences. What is making the brand stick? Seeing the beautiful growth that came from people organically connecting with DAINKHEADS through its brand authenticity and consistency. Where can you go to see a show? That’s the secret. The DAINKHEADS community is based on a “if you know you know” kinda party where you can only RSVP if you are a part of the DAINKHEADS Instagram community where all events are posted. There are some events that are public but members get early access to tickets and exclusive discounts and merch.
Daink has recently dropped his latest installment of the Daink tapes: Dainkie Darko 3 including hit singles Nirvana and DS&R to rave reviews and has been on the scene ever since, giving crowds a tasteful listen. He states that his tape Daink Drop 4 was his personal favorite showcase. “We had a great line up, packed out the venue, and a killer set.” Daink consistently keeps his community up to date with refreshing events that include star studded guest DJ and artist lineup.
