Sunday, February 1st, arrives the 2026 GRAMMY Awards as they host this ceremony for the 68th time in its vaunted history.

Surely we, the people, have our (justified) quarrels with the way the academy tends to award in a certain .. you know .. tone deaf manner. Artists themselves have advocated, boycotted, and spoken against some aged viewpoints making egregious decisions.

This doesn’t diminish that receiving even just a GRAMMY nomination is a resume builder. Let alone a win. So hopefully we see more trophies going towards artists and music that reflect the best each genre has to offer. Plus some good music performances, speeches, and love along the way.
