Bogie Bam is an MC from my hometown of New Bedford, Massachusetts (you know, the 8PAST) that has rapped his entire life. With one of the most distinctive voices I’ve ever heard on wax and a passion for lyrical substance, it’s easy to see why I call him an MC and not a rapper. The grind has been a steady climb but this joint takes him back to his roots with a more boom bap sounding instrumental much like most of his earlier work. “They gon use you as excuses just to drink”.
