Jeezy - I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget (Album)

There are two types of people in this world. Those who feel triumphant when they hear Jeezy’s famous ad libs, and those who feel scared. This album title is seemingly for the latter. While Jeezy’s meteoric rise in the mid-00’s easily eclipsed most of his trap peers (save for T.I.), the later stages in his career have seen a shift in the culture pioneered and literally attached to his greatest rival - Gucci Mane. After the two came together during Covid to do a historic Verzuz which seemingly ended their feud as the two performed the same song that sparked their beef together and proceeded to go on tour with some other acts. A lot of folk clowned Jeezy for turning the other cheek and while he’s released projects since the beef, this also comes off the heels of his own filing for divorce. With a title and cover like this, this double album appears to be truly confessional and autobiographically honest.
