After a meticulously detailed roll out, that’s spanned pretty much all of 2021 to this point. Him hacking into espn’s broadcast with the release date to the album was something of a movie, with that Drake drops his sixth studio album which is one of the most anticipated albums of the year. With features from Lil Baby, Young Thug, Weezy, Hov, Lil Durk, 21 savage, Yebba, Rick Ross, Projact Pat, Giveon, Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, and Tems.

It’s safe to say Drizzy tapped in with some of the rap games best and pulled out all the stops for this album. The 6 God thought of this rollout carefully with already dropping Certified Lover Boy merch with Nike. Also capturing the eyes of his audience cause you never really know what he is going to do next, for instance with his coverart being all different sorts of the pregnant woman emojis perhaps it was maybe due to the album being nine months late, whether it was intentional or not, it was definitely clever.  Also capturing all of social media’s attention by hacking an espn broadcast like a supervillain with your album release date is something of a mad genius; After hearing it through for the first time it seems The Boy delivered again having being able to capture how the world seems to feel in that moment with relatable bars and catchy melodic flows.
