Jeremih & 4batz - Sick (Single)

People on social media have been making many jokes about 4batz “falling off”. After 4batz meteoric rise to stardom with his “act ii: date @ 8” single, he was quickly signed to Drake's label to release his lackluster debut project “u made me a st4r”. His latest attempt since this project, paired with Jeremih, has the same issue as his EP: it's boring. “Sick” is repetitive, employing the same two-chord changes throughout the track. The 80’s style synth is uninteresting and 4batz doesn't do much to add to the track, besides some harmonized “ooh aahs” in the bridge.

4batz had a lot of promise; he could’ve carved out his niche in the R&B genre, but instead, he continues to release run-of-the-mill tracks you could hear from hundreds of other artists. His “Hood dude with angelic voice” gimmick is very close to being played out.
