JAHKOY X CVIRO X GXNXVS - Shadows

“Instead of love, I’m chasing shadows.” A line that really sticks out to me from Jahkoy’s newest single “Shadows”, which features CVIRO and production from GXNXVS. 

Phew, even the guys are having a hard time finding genuine love, huh? This song details experiences with lovers who show up as a false version of themselves. You know, that man or woman you like, that you think feels the same way, but it just ends up being a facade? Yeah, that kind of thing. 

After encountering this situation on more than one occasion, it becomes hard to differentiate the real lovers from the fake ones. If you’ve been there, and most of us have, this song will definitely resonate.

Jahkoy’s sound does a great job of capturing that 90s, singing in the rain, essence. He’s able to apply a flair unique to him, which is something I enjoy about his music.
