Roddy Ricch is easily one of the most exciting new voices in rap of the pst few years, even if he is anything but omnipresent. The Roddy drought has been something serious. While his next project was believed to be Feed Tha Streets 3, it looks like the “Die Young” rapper has had a change of heart and really took his time with this new project, hopefully to make it something more than what the third installment in his Feed Tha Streets mixtape series would’ve been. Judging by the amount of time and care that went into his last project, 2019’s Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, we can expect nothing less than greatness. Roddy is a natural talent, combining gospel-like melodies with the off-kilter trap stylings of a Young Thug or an A Boogie. His ear for production also ranks just a cut above his competition.
