Blxst & Bino Rideaux - Sixtape 2 (Mixtape)

2021 XXL Freshman Blxst first popped up on my radar at the tail end of last year. But he just only became a staple in my playlists this Summer after being properly introduced to his sound on YG & Mozzy’s “Perfect Timing”. Similarly, I’ve been listening to a lot of Nipsey Hussle lately (this warm weather just screams Los Angeles to me) and have become a fan of Bino through their joint project No Pressure. This is to say, I haven’t yet gone back to the original Sixtape but based on the individual tracks I’ve heard and their few collaborations, the sonic similarities leave me little doubt in their chemistry. And above that, I’m happy to see that Blxst is sharing the light he received from XXL with his homie immediately after receiving the coveted cosign. Check out Sixtape 2 above.
