2026 BET Awards - And The Winners Are…
The sun been beamin’ and the awards stay shining.
June 28th was the 26th BET Awards at Peacock Theater in sunshiny Los Angeles, California. And the stars were out doing what they do best.
Leon Thomas and Kehlani held it down for their genres as they took Best Male R&B/Pop Aritst and Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, respectively. Kehlani also took Video of the Year with “Folded”.
Teyana Taylor was awarded Icon of the Year (and the award was presented by none other than the Janet Jackson) with a speech that left not a dry eye in the room. She also won Best Actress, the Fashion Vanguard Award, and Video Director of the Year.
Cardi B made her mark as Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the third time now.
Kendrick Lamar took home Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.
Clipse won Album of the Year with “Let God Sort Em Out”, Best Group, and Best Collaboration with “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar.
And many more artists were awarded in between great performances by T.I., Don Toliver, Kehlani & Usher, Cardi B, Raye, Tems, Baby Keem, KWN, just to name a few + tributes to Lauryn Hill & the late D’Angelo by multiple artists.
