Ariana Grande & Kid Cudi - Just Look Up (Single)

Talk about a meeting of the minds. On paper this sounds like a dream collaboration that would only come true if these were Super Smash Bros. characters (seriously, Sakurai worked some miracles with Ultimate’s roster). But when you think about it, both stars soared to new heights by displaying a level of vulnerability previously unforeseen in their respective genres. Both have a carefree, happy image outside of their work despite their own personal demons. Both have immediately recognizable voices as well, from Ariana’s mumble rap-flavored soprano to Kid Cudi’s grunge-influenced hums. Maybe this will even score Kid Cudi his second #1 and that’s long overdue if you ask me. So check out the new collaboration from the upcoming Netflix movie “Don’t Look Up”. Kinda antithetical, I know.
