Majid Jordan - Wildest Dreams (Album)

We often talk about Drake’s influence on rap, but what about his influence on R&B? I know you could argue Drake gets sounds from his collaborators but the moody, nostalgic, Toronto sound that made the Weeknd a household name eventually also pushed the Weeknd to dig deeper into the nostalgia side of it all. That 80’s-inspired After Hours-style production is all over this project but also a lot more in line with Drake’s own work. If you’re familiar with Majid Jordan at all, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Check out Wildest Dreams above.

For more Majid Jordan, keep it locked to TDN, forever.
