While a lot of the hype about GS9 coming home was directed at Bobby Shmurda (and rightfully so), it’s Rowdy Rebel who has consistently given us joints since their release last year. Rowdy came home and got right in the booth and immediately felt like a well celebrated part of New York’s current culture. With the explosion of drill in New York, it’s hard to say the GS9 crew hasn’t gotten their flowers, but Rowdy Rebel is here dropping off his first project as a free man and it’s clear he doesn’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
