Mac Miller - The Quest

What was once only available on vinyl has now made its way to DSPs.

Mac Miller’s estate must’ve cleared the “Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind” sample some more as we now get “The Quest” in the palm of our hands. Mac spits a retrospective stream of consciousness and encourages us to keep running through the worries, through the pain, through the turmoil, but to speak up when you’re feeling underwater.

This was a bonus track on the 10th-anniversary edition of “Watching Movies With The Sound Off” last year so as the 11th-anniversary approaches we get another treat. Maybe even more of his huge unreleased catalog is on the way.

Hopefully, all songs released are finished products and carry Mac’s intended vision. Getting posthumous music has its blurred lines ethically, in my opinion, and I’d rather get something the artist wanted us to hear. I’m sure if anyone would know, it’s Mac’s people.
