Gunna - DS4Ever (Album)

Drip Season 3 has long been the single greatest example of Gunna’s talent. This isn’t to say he’s been whack ever since, but while his Drip Harder co-star Lil Baby has eclipsed his early work fairly easily in recent years, Gunna’s name has not been held in the same light. The splash he made on that breakthrough tape had an impact that has seemed hard to duplicate, even by all of the other artists the project has influenced (including Lil Baby himself as he leaned toward more guitar-driven production for a bit). It’s only natural Gunna would want to return to the series that’s made him a household name. While the features include the usual suspects (Future, Young Thug, Lil Baby… Drake?) new additions like Chloe and Yung Bleu give the expected direction of the tape just enough of a shake up.
