8PAST FOREVER. Those of you who have read my New Bedford Artists To Watch Article should already be familiar with Yung Quapo. He’s a young rising star from New Bedford, Massachusetts who puts so much pain into his vocal performance that his range rivals rockstars like Lil Uzi Vert. Today he’s back with another member of New Bedford’s GMD collective in GMD Guapo. If the similarity in the names serves as a sign of things to come, it should, because these two have great chemistry. The two spit autotune-drenched tales of their lives in the streets and all of the ups and downs that have come with it. Check out the video for “Touchdown” above.
