Dreamville - D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape (Mixtape)

Wow. A Dreamville/Gangsta Grillz mixtape. The culture is really in full effect. After Tyler’s last album, I assumed Drama would go back into hiding and popping up sparingly on artists within gis wheelhouse, as he’s done over the last decade. Instead, Cole & the Dreamville camp have comtinued their onslaught on the culture by tapping the mixtape legend. ROTD3 (Dreamville’s last project) was nothing short of special, so it’s great to see these acts all linking back up again with a new coat of paint. The Off Season’s mixtape vibes alone have had me hyped for the potential of a project like this. I can’t stop typing. I’m a go listen now. You should too, up above.
