Devin Malik - Canadian Tux (Official Video)

Back in love with it.

That denim on denim is quite a choice but Devin Malik doubles down on it with this new joint, “Canadian Tux”. And it works like a charm.

After some recent looks on ScHoolboy Q’s “Blue Lips”, Malik slides with some heat here. Linking with F1LTHY for this beat too (who is responsible for Drake’s “I’m Upset”, Lil Yachty’s “Poland”, and many other notable tracks) is a match made in sonic Heaven.

“Call me Mr. Put That Sh** On, even since pockets was light as a feather” spits Devin as he makes it sound easy with each bar carrying a note of confidence that is hard to rival. It sounds like something that should be played at obnoxiously loud volumes through 18 speakers at once. The video serves its purpose too and only adds to the experience of the single. He and his crew shift the weather with every scene they hit, working out some eye-catching movements from shot to shot so shout out to director Cordell Jomha and whoever else had a hand in that.

All this is also coming off producing some records on Isaiah Rashad’s “The House Is Burning”, so it’s safe to say he’s only trending upwards from here. I’m curious to hear more, to say the least.
