G Herbo - “25” (album)

G Herbo comes through and delivers on new album “25”. After first listen to this album it is safe to say G Herbo delivered a classic with his new album “25”.  G Herbo keeping it real and candid as he dives through his life and reflects on the losses of some of his beloved peers that didn’t get to see twenty five. He shows raw pain and emotion on tracks like; I Don’t Wanna Die, Cold World, Stand The Rain.

Even the features that Swervo tapped in for played their roles on each record to perfection, and each feature served its purpose and complimented G Herbo’s flows really well. Like Rowdy Rebel on “Drill”, Polo G & Lil Tjay on “Cry No More”. One of the features I was surprised to see him tap in with was; The Kid LAROI which also featured Gunna who calmly walked on his verse, but The Kid LAROI served his purpose delivering some key vocals to balance the flows of G Herbo & Gunna.

G Herbo has run rampant these past 2 years, I think this album “25” might be his best body of work to date. I said this about his last album PTSD which had a lot of critically acclaimed success. This body of work that “25” displays shows G Herbo’s growth as an individual as he has gone through life, not to mention how hard the bars are; Herbo’s pen game remains one of the hottest rappers in the game today and it only seems like he is getting better. It’s crazy to think that even G Herbo has been in the game for almost a decade. It seems like just yesterday he dropped Kill Shit with Lil Bibby in 2012, to see how much G Herbo has grown as a rapper right before our eyes is impeccable, and like I said he is still only getting better, at 25 it seems like the world is in the palm of his hand.
