21 Lil Harold and JID delivered us the collab we didn’t know we needed with “Sundown”.

Each rapper spits their verse, both touching on the realities of street life and life before making it; Using a similar approach, 21 Lil Harold describes his life from the ages of 18-21, while JID goes through his years from 2012-2015. This parallel allows you to see what each rapper was going through at the time and how, despite that, they still ended up here together. 

The music video starts in black and white, then turns to color once J.I.D’s verse begins. This tactic is pretty ironic considering that’s exactly what it feels like whenever JID graces our ears. He really pours life into every rap, elevating any song with a feature. 

The East Atlanta natives gave us something special with this one.
