Earlier this week the New York native teased that she had a huge announcement to make via her twitter account and later dropped the artwork for her follow up single to “WAP.”
The song has a catchy beat and confident lyrics which is nothing new for Cardi. In “Up” she raps about glo’ing up and stunting on everyone who doubted her, male and female. Definitely a song you should listen to when you need a boost of confidence before heading out, or when you need to get in your bag ASAP.

With the commercial success of 2020’s WAP, there was obvious buzz surrounding the rapper and her next move, but for now we’ve been blessed with the gift of a fresh single to start off the new year.
