6 Years Since Future dropped DS2 (album)

I can’t believe its been 6 years since Future dropped DS2, Future was on a ridiculous run from 2015-2017 but this project sticks out the most to me from that time period. This album was everything you wanted from a trap album, from club bangers, to slower vibes like “Thought It Was a Drought” and “The Percocet & Stripper Joint”. Where the melodic beats meet Future’s lean fueled flows and it birthed an amazing project filled with timeless classics.

The replay value of that album is sensational **future voice**, no but seriously you can really run through that album with no skips, and Future only had one feature on that album which was Drake which birthed “Where Ya At” another timeless hit. How could I talk about this album though without giving credit to one of the best producers in the game; with that being none other than Metro Boomin, who couldn’t have made more such fitting beats for this masterpiece. This is one of his best works to date but this project for Metro along with doing WATTBA catapulted Metro to superstar status as a producer.

Future and Metro all in all, bodied this project to its entirety capturing the vibe of ATL in the process. After 6 years looking back, its safe to say that this album was an instant classic.
